Avanzi delle Terme di Costantino su Quirinale. Etching 1817. Cm 28,5 x 21. Rossini Luigi. Architect, painter and etcher. Born in Ravenna on December the 15th, 1790 and died on the 22nd of April, 1857. He studied at the “Accademia di Bologna”. He etched many collections of prints among which are: “Le vedute di Roma” 101 copper plates , “Viaggio da Roma a Napoli” a splendid series of the best panoramic views you can see between Rome and Naples on the Appian way. “I sette colli” was his monumental work on the seven hills of Rome.
