Piazza di San Giovanni in Laterano. Uncommon copper engraving of 1839. Measurement of the plate 23.5 x 34 cm. Extracted from the work "Journey from Rome to Naples", made between 1836 and 1839. In excellent condition with large margins. Engraved by Luigi Rossini. Architect, painter and etcher. Born in Ravenna on 15 December 1790, died in Rome on 22 April 1857. Student of the Academy of Bologna. He has recorded numerous collections of prints, the most important of which are: "The views of Rome", a collection of 101 branches, "Journey from Rome to Naples", a splendid series of the most beautiful views encountered along the Appian Way from Rome to Naples, "The seven hills ”monumental work on the seven hills of Rome and others.
