Muse Erato. Gouache circa 1820. Size 46 x 35.5 cm. It represents the Muse of choral singing, Erato. Below a hunting scene. These gouaches, of great value, were made in series for various clients by the artist Tommaso Bigatti, of whom very little is known. It is just that it was active between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
