It depicts the Bridge and the Castel Sant'Angelo with the statues made by Bernini and other sculptors, commissioned by Pope Clement IX. On the bridge the Papal procession. The print is published by Giovanni Giacomo de Rossi. Exemplary in overall good condition, some abrasion on the margins, printed on laid paper with watermark lily in the circle. Engraved by Giovanni Battista Falda. Architect, draftsman and engraver. Born in Valduggia in 1648, he died in Rome in 1678. He ignores who his teacher was, but his style is very similar to that of Israel Silvestre, who is in Rome between 1669 and 1678. Rome has many drawings of him and engravings of his churches, gardens, fountains and public buildings, executed with great knowledge of perspective and rich with many characters.
