Rare and large map of Italy in 4 sheets . In the cartouche the reference cartographer for the drafting of the map is mentioned: D'Anville. Map reading keys are on the lower left. The map was published in London in 1800. Exemplary in excellent condition, printed on laid paper with watermark. Engraved by William Faden (1749 - 1836); he was an English cartographer and a map editor. He was the royal geographer of King George III
