Nuova topografia di Roma.... Copper engraving of 1748. Measurement of the engraved part 170 x 206 cm. Probably the most famous and sought-after topographic map of Rome, the so-called §Big Rome of Nolli. The print is in 12 tables. This was the first map divided into the 14 Rioni of Rome, wanted by Benedict XIV, to which the map is dedicated. This specimen is in good condition, only one of the tables is slightly browned. Printed on laid paper. Engraved by Giovanni Battista Nolli (Como, 1692 - Rome, 1756)
