The print is in excellent condition, printed on laid paper with indistinguishable watermark. Engraved by Georg Braun. 1541-1622. Geographer publisher is best known for his great work: "Civitates orbis terrarum" published in collaboration with the cartographer Franz Hogenberg (1535-1590) in Cologne. The work in six volumes collects hundreds of city views, the first volume came out in 1572, the last in 1618.
