Felsina sive Bononia Antiqua. Beautiful etching of 1704. Measures to copper 51.2 x 56.6 cm. Prospect of the city of Ancient Bologna in Emilia Romagna, extracted from the "Nouveau theathre d'Italie". Soft glow on the center fold, otherwise in good condition, printed on laid paper without watermark. Engraved by J. Blaeu and published posthumously by Pierre Mortier. Who died in 1724. Active in Amsterdam. From 1690 he was the publisher of the works of many cartographers and especially Jaillot which bought the "Neptune" cards, De Fer which reprinted the "Theatre de la guerre" and Blaeu.
