Argentari's Arch at Forum Boario. Beautiful copperplate engraving of 1704. Measurement of the plate 47.5 cm x 59. Show the reconstruction of the Arch of Argentario at the Foro Boario, dedicated to Septimius Severus, Caracalla, with their wives and to Caesar Geta. The print is in good condition, the usual central fold, printed on laid paper without watermark. Published by Pierre Mortier. Died in 1724. Active in Amsterdam. From 1690 he was the publisher of the works of many cartographers and especially Jaillot from which acquired the papers of the "Neptune", De Fer of which reprinted the "Theatre de la guerre" and Blaeu.
