Piazza della Rotonda and the Pantheon of Agrippa. Beautiful and rare engraving of 1704. Measurement of the plate 35.5 cm x 36. It represents the bird's eye view of the Pantheon in Rome. You can see the market stalls in front of the Pantheon, in the distance on the left the unmistakable facade of Ara Coeli. Table from the opera "Beschryving van Nieuw Rome" printed in Amsterdam in 1704 and published by Francois Halma. The print has a little tear on top right corner, otherwise in good condition, with the usual central fold, printed on laid paper without watermark. Engraved by F. Deseine, engraver active in the Netherlands in the late seventeenth and early eighteenth century
