Church of Sant 'Athanagio and College of natione de' Greci. Etching of 1690. Measurement of Partee engraved cm 17 x 29. It is the Church of St. Athanasius of the Greeks on Via del Babuino in Rome. In excellent condition, on laid paper without watermark. Engraved by Giovanni-Battista Falda. Architect, draftsman and printmaker. Born in Valduggia in 1648, died in Rome in 1678. It is not known who was his teacher, but his style is very similar to that of Israel Silvestre, which is located in Rome between 1669 and 1678. Rome owns many of his drawings and engravings of churches, gardens, fountains and public buildings, executed with great knowledge of perspective and full of many characters.
