Church of the Miraculous Madonna Dell'Ariccia. Etching of 1690. Measurement of the plate 17 cm x 28.5. Represents the Church of St. Mary of Galloro, in Ariccia near Rome. In good conditions, a German translation written in ink under the imprint of copper, on laid paper without watermark. Engraved by Giovanni-Battista Falda. Architect, draftsman and printmaker. Born in Valduggia in 1648, died in Rome in 1678. It is not known who was his teacher, but his style is very similar to that of Israel Silvestre, which is located in Rome between 1669 and 1678. Rome owns many of his drawings and engravings of churches, gardens, fountains and public buildings, executed with great knowledge of perspective and full of many characters.
