Santa Martina . Beautiful copperplate engraving of 1655. Measurement of the plate 33 cm x 25. It represents the Santa Martina with its symbols , the foot beam Roman commemorates the martyrdom . The Santa offers a lily to Christ lying in the arms of the Virgin . The latter appears sitting on a cloud . Roman architectural background. You may notice a statue and a hearth , were destroyed , as is the story of Santa . In fair condition , margins restored completely , a corner restored , on laid paper with watermark . Engraved by Giovanni Battista Bonacina (born 1620 ), a work by Pietro da Cortona ( 1596-1669 ) .
