The Last Supper . Wonderful etching that reproduces a painting by Tintoretto , now preserved in the Church of San Trovaso in Venice . Engraved by Andrea Zucchi from a drawing by Silvestro Manaigo . Is the Last Supper , but with a vitality in the scene very rare by the standards of the time . Almost everything is in motion , Jesus has just announced the Betrayal , and Jude ( the Apostle who took the bottle from the ground) in the original canvas is the only one without halo. Original in good condition, with the usual central fold , margins perfectly restored as you can see from the photo , on laid paper with watermark unidentified . Engraved by Andrea Zucchi (Venice 1679 - Dresden, 1740) , from a drawing by Silvestro Manaigo in 1720 . Measurement of the plate 38 x 56.6 cm .
