Palermo . Beautiful etching of 1704. Measures to bar copper cm 39 x 48. It represents the city of Palermo in Sicily . In good condition , usual center fold , on laid paper without watermark . Engraved by W. Blaeu and published posthumously by Pierre Mortier . Died in 1724. Active in Amsterdam . From 1690 he was the publisher of the works of many cartographers and especially Jaillot from which acquired the papers of the " Neptune " , De Fer of which reprinted the " Theatre de la guerre " and Blaeu . By de Witt came into possession of many sheets of Dutch cartographers .
